Historic First! Male Tiger Rescued Alive in Jharkhand by Joint Forest Team

In a historic first, a male tiger was successfully rescued alive by a joint team of Palamau Tiger Reserve and Ranchi division in Jharkhand. The operation led by senior forest officials, marks a major milestone in the state's wildlife conservation efforts.

One male tiger rescued successfully by the joint team of Palamau Tiger Reserve and Ranchi division. The team under the Chairmanship of S. R. Natesha CCF Wildlife and FD, PTR having Srikanth, DFO Ranchi,  Awanish, DFO wildlife, Dr. Jabbar Rtd vet, Nominee of NTCA/NGO representative/village Mukhiya and others. The whole operation was under the supervision of Sh. Paritosh Upadhyay, PCCF wildlife and CWLW, Jharkhand. Ashish and Prajesh Jena, DD's of PTR and staff of PTR etc. This is the first such rescue operation of tiger in Jharkhand. The tiger was caught live in the cage and then tranquilized for facilitating transport. After observation in soft release centre at PTR the decision shall be taken to release in wild.
