Delhi Schools Bomb Threats: New Delhi, August 21, 2025 – A wave of bomb threats has rattled the capital, prompting evacuations, extensive searches, and mounting alarm among parents and authorities.

Third Incident in Four Days

On Thursday morning, five Delhi schools—including BGS International Public School in Dwarka Sector 5, Andhra Education Society Sr. Sec School in Prasad Nagar, Rao Man Singh Sr. Sec School in Chhawla, Maxfort School in Dwarka Sector1, and Indraprastha International School in Dwarka Sector 10—received bomb threat emails, marking the third such incident in just four days.

Pattern of Threats

Earlier this week, over 50 schools were targeted in similar bomb threat emails on Wednesday, prompting evacuations and hoax declarations after exhaustive searches. On the previous Monday, 32 schools had already received analogous emails that turned out to be hoaxes.

The Terrorizers 111 Connection

Authorities believe the threats originate from a group calling themselves “Terrorizers 111”, which sent the Wednesday emails claiming high-yield explosives were planted in school buildings, buses, auditoriums, and classrooms. The group purportedly compromised school IT systems and security cameras, demanding $2,000 in Ethereum within 48 hours to prevent detonation.

Emergency Response

Every time, Delhi Police, bomb disposal units, cybercrime teams, dog squads, fire tenders, and ambulances were immediately deployed to conduct detailed inspections. Despite the

seriousness of the situation, no explosives were found, and all threats have been declared hoaxes .

Escalating Concern Among Parents

This spate of threats—now the third in four days—has intensified anxiety among parents, who remain highly concerned for their children’s safety. The repeated incidents, though false alarms, have underscored persistent security vulnerabilities in educational institutions.

Authorities Take No Chances

While declaring the threats hoaxes, school administrators and law enforcement continue to treat each alert with utmost seriousness. They are coordinating investigations, reinforcing protocols, and seeking to trace the origin of the emails—especially considering the use of VPNs and encrypted communication. The intent behind these alarming hoax threats remains under investigation.
