Adani Group Chairperson Gautam Adani arrived in the sacred city of Puri to take part in the world-renowned Shree Jagannath Rath Yatra 2025. The annual festival, which commenced on June 26 and will continue till July 8, draws millions of devotees from across the globe. Adani’s presence at the holy event underscores the group’s deepening engagement with community welfare and spiritual initiatives.
Adani Group's ‘Seva’ Initiative at Puri Dham
In a major philanthropic gesture, the Adani Group has launched the ‘Prasad Seva’ program at Puri Dham. As part of this initiative, the group is offering free meals (Mahaprasad) and extending comprehensive support to pilgrims and frontline personnel including police, volunteers, and sanitation workers during the grand Rath Yatra festivities.
The seva spans multiple fronts—from food distribution and water facilities to logistical support for crowd management—aiming to ensure a safe, smooth, and spiritually enriching experience for all participants.
A Blend of Devotion and Corporate Social Responsibility
Sources from the group stated that this initiative is not just a CSR activity, but a heartfelt seva rooted in spiritual responsibility. Gautam Adani is expected to visit the Jagannath Temple and also review on-ground arrangements made by his team during his stay.
Coordinated Efforts with Local Administration
The Adani Foundation is said to be working in close coordination with local authorities to streamline services and ensure hygiene and order throughout the Rath Yatra period. Special arrangements for elderly devotees and medical aid centers have also been set up.
With such large-scale involvement, the Adani Group’s presence in Puri during the Rath Yatra 2025 adds a significant layer of organized support and spiritual service, further enriching the grandeur of one of India’s most revered festivals.
