The tourism department announced the return of the event with a message highlighting its new dates, renewed energy and the distinctive atmosphere associated with Jharkhand’s rainy season.
The Johar Monsoon Rainfest 2026 is expected to provide visitors with an opportunity to experience Jharkhand’s natural landscape and cultural vibrancy during the monsoon. The event is being promoted as a celebration of the season, bringing together tourism, culture and the spirit of the state.
The festival will be held at Morabadi in Ranchi from September 8 to 10, 2026. The announcement is part of the Jharkhand government’s efforts to promote the state’s tourism potential and showcase its cultural identity.
With the return of the Rainfest, Ranchi is set to welcome visitors and residents for three days of monsoon-themed celebrations under the banner of the Johar Monsoon Rainfest 2026.
