Karnataka News: Teacher Faces POCSO Charges for Torturing Students with Excessive Homework, Investigation on

Karnataka News: According to police, a teacher in Karnataka has been reported to POCSO for allegedly suffocating kids with schoolwork and torturing them in the classroom.

Outcry Spark among Students and Parents

H.S. Ravi, a mathematics teacher at Godekere Government School, allegedly used to assign kids a lot of homework, according to Chikkanayakanahalli police. He punished them in front of the class if they didn’t finish the assigned work. The pupils protested to their parents about the teacher after finding it impossible to endure the sanctions and torture. They also declined to attend class out of concern for his mistreatment and possible punishment.

POCSO Case Filed Against Teacher

In response, the parents went to the Chikkanayakanahalli police, who filed a POCSO Act case against the accused. There is an investigation going on. There are still unanswered questions regarding the occurrence.
