Kasganj Viral Video: In a bizarre incident from Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh, a man identified as Mukesh Kumar staged his own death to create a social media reel. The video went viral in no time as he could be seen lying on the road near Raj Cold Storage area, lying motionless as if he was dead. The dramatic setup featured Kumar covered in a white bedsheet, with cotton in his nostrils and a garland around his neck-all elements commonly associated with funerals.
A Shocking Scene Unfolds in Kasganj
Just when you expect things to take a dark turn, however, the stunt came completely out of nowhere as he sat up toward the end of the video and burst out laughing. This weird scene shocked people in the region as most of them felt it was really happening. A small crowd gathered and wondered how there came to be a “dead body” on the road only to realize a few moments later that it was all a prank played with the intention of publishing on social media. Local Police Respond
The video, unfortunately for Kumar, did not taste good to local authorities. It caught the attention of the police, who caught him. Additional Superintendent of Police Shri Rajesh Bharti confirmed the details of the incident and stated that staging such stunts in public places is altogether inappropriate.
His arrest tells us that while social media encourages creativity, there are limits to what people should not cross. Pranks like this one which touch sensitive subjects such as death bring unnecessary worries and restlessness to people and a waste of police time and resources. Kumar’s reeling effort brought him into legal trouble and proved that some reels are really not worth it.
