Kashmir news: Indian Army soldier goes missing from the valley, search operation underway

Kashmir news: The family members of the 25-year-old soldier Javed Ahmed Wani have claimed that he was abducted from his vehicle in Jammu and Kashmir‘s Kulgam district. The soldier had come to his home on leave. Javed Ahmed Wani is a native of Achthal area of Kulgam district who is serving in the Indian Army.

Kashmir Police has registered an FIR

According to the report of Press Trust India, Javed Ahmad Wani was posted in Leh and he has been missing since 8 pm on Saturday (July 29). Officials told the news agency that his vehicle was found in Paranhall yesterday evening.

The Kashmir Police has registered an FIR and arrested some suspects on the basis of suspicion so that information about the missing soldier can be found.

Search operation has been launched

A search operation has been done by the Indian Army and police to trace the missing soldier. The entire area has been cordoned off so that no suspect can escape. Javed had gone to Chowalgam to buy groceries by car on Saturday, since then there is no news of him. When he did not reach home, his family members started searching for him.
