Lucknow News: Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport is making all the efforts to woo the travellers. The transport department has decided to provide comfortable AC journey to its passengers on affordable fares. They have introduced Janarath Air Conditioned Bus Services between Lucknow and Gauriphantha near Dudhwa National Park. To avail the ride, the passengers will have to pay only 457 Rupees from Kaiserbagh to Gauriphanta. The journey will begin from Kaiserbagh in Lucknow via Balrampur . The bus will leave from Gauriphanta for Kaiserbagh at 5 and 6pm. The same bus will travel from both directions via Balrampur and Palia.
One More Janrath Bus Service will be launched soon
Passengers will have to book tickets in advance from Kaiserbagh bus station. There is a plan to run one more Janrath Bus Service between Kaiserbagh to Sampurnanagar via Khajuria. The time table and fare for this route will be announced soon. However many Bus operators and conductors are facing issues due to lack of buses on some routes and low salaries.
Driver, Bus Staff struggling due to shortage in Buses
The drivers and Bus operators have been complaining about long working hours due to shortage of bus services. In many routes, old buses are removed but no new buses have come to replace them. On routes where 10 buses used to run, now only 5 are running causing more burden on the staff.
