Madhya Pradesh CM announces setting up of Brahmin welfare board on Parshuram Jayanti

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made a big announcement for Brahmins in the election year. In a program organized on the occasion of Parshuram Jayanti, the CM said that we have decided that the government will not have any control over the activities of the temples. Along with this, now collectors will not be able to auction the land adjacent to the temples. Rather, the priests associated with the temple will now be able to auction these lands.

Brahmin Welfare Board will be established

For a long time it was being demanded in the state that the interference of the administration in the temples should be stopped and the priests should be given their rights. At the same time, now their demand has been fulfilled. CM has also announced to form Brahmin Welfare Board in the meeting. He also said that Brahmins have always protected religion and culture, so for their welfare we will establish ‘Brahmin Welfare Board’.

It is said that Lord Parshuram was born in this hut, after that he went to Mount Kailash for education, where he learned weapons and scriptures from Lord Shiva.

Apart from this, 7 and a half rivers emerge from Janapav hill. In which some rivers join Yamuna and Narmada. This is the origin of Chambal, Sumaria, Gambhir, Agrade, Choral, Karam, Biram and Nekedeshwari rivers. It is said about these rivers that these rivers merge into Yamuna and Narmada rivers. Jamadagni Rishi, the father of Lord Parshuram, also used to do penance on this hill.

There is a lot of difference of opinion among the experts regarding the birth place of Lord Parshuram. According to some beliefs, his place of birth is considered to be in Mhow, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this, the birth place of God is also considered in Kalcha village situated amidst dense forests in Surguja district of Chhattisgarh. Along with this, there are beliefs about his birth place in Jharkhand as well.
