Madhya Pradesh News: A troubling event occurred in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, and a video that went viral showed a young person purportedly being harassed and assaulted by a group of miscreants.

Outrage and Calls for Justice as Details of Bhopal Assault Video Surface

In the disturbing video, the attackers belt the youngster around his neck and force him to mimic a dog's yelp.

The video attracted a lot of attention after it was posted on Twitter with the statement, "Faizan, Bilal, Sameer, Mufid, and Sahil brutally thrashed a Hindu boy, Vijay, put a belt around his neck, and forced him to bark like a dog in Bhopal, MP.  Dara Hua Visesh Samuday threatened to rape his sister and abuse his mother too.." The video's caption also stated that the five boys verbally abused the victim's mother and threatened to rape his sister. Narottam Mishra, MP Home Minister, announced shortly after the episode went viral on social media that he has instructed police to take harsh action against the youths.

MP Home Minister Condemns Bhopal Assault Video and Urges Swift Action

"I watched the movie. It struck me as a tragic situation. Such treatment of a human being is completely unacceptable. I have given the Bhopal Police Commissioner instructions to look into this issue and take appropriate action within 24 hours," Mishra added.
