African cheetah Suraj was found dead at the national park last month. Officials in Kuno state that the death’s cause has not yet been confirmed.

A female cheetah named “Nirbhaya” died from Kuno National Park in July, leaving authorities unsure of the big cat’s fate. The national park’s management has been finding for the cheetah, but there hasn’t been any progress in the search effort so far.

The incident occurred after forest officials faced harsh criticism after a number of cheetahs died nearby. Along with following the missing Cheetah’s pug marks, the Kuno National Park trekking crew began employing drone cameras to expand their search. Officials have been informed by the villagers that they had already seen the animal in the area.
