CM Mohan Yadav Dubai Visit: Madhya Pradesh Eyes Aviation, Logistics Boost with Strategic Partnerships

On the second day of his official Dubai visit, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav held a high-level meeting with Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Emirates Airlines and the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority. The meeting marked a significant step toward enhancing air connectivity and aviation infrastructure in central India.

Direct International Flights from Indore & Bhopal Discussed

During the cordial exchange, the two leaders discussed the possibility of launching direct international flights from cities like Indore and Bhopal. This move is expected to significantly ease travel for people from central India to the Middle East and beyond, and also enhance the state's connectivity on the global tourism and business map.

Plans for Cargo Hub, Aviation Academy & MRO Facilities

CM Yadav also laid out a vision for transforming Madhya Pradesh into a regional cargo hub, emphasizing the importance of logistics, aviation training, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) facilities. Discussions included potential collaboration with Emirates Aviation Academy to set up a campus in the state, which could open doors for local youth to receive world-class training in aviation-related disciplines.

The two sides further explored strategic tourism partnerships to promote Madhya Pradesh as a preferred destination for international tourists. CM Yadav underlined the state's rich heritage, wildlife reserves, and spiritual circuits as areas of immense global appeal.

Strengthening MP’s Global Aviation Profile

Calling the meeting a strong milestone for Madhya Pradesh’s aviation and logistics ambitions, CM Yadav expressed confidence that this engagement would pave the way for making MP a national leader in aviation services.

The Dubai visit also included interactions with other global investors and stakeholders in logistics and infrastructure, as the CM continues his efforts to attract foreign investment and global partnerships for transforming Madhya Pradesh into a logistics and aviation hub of India.
