Education department declared the district wise report card in Madhya Pradesh

Katni’s name has been included in the top 10 in the ranking released for the significant improvement in the ranking of educational achievements across the state. Whereas last year the district was ranked 32nd. The rank report of 52 districts of the state was released on Thursday. This report is for the session 2022-23 on the basis of the achievements and works being done in the districts by the State Education Center of the School Education Department.

There has been a marked improvement in the ranking of academic achievements of Katni district as compared to last year. According to the information, Katni district with A grade in the ranking released after review and evaluation on the basis of the programs and activities conducted in the first quarter of the academic session 2022-23 under the overall education scheme for elementary education (classes 1 to 8) by the State Education Center. Included in the top 10 districts.

Collector Priyank Mishra has encouraged the teachers to earn the top position in the state by focusing on the factors like teaching work, capacity building, learning skills of students, available resources etc. Katni district has made a tremendous improvement in its educational ranking of last year, leaving behind metros like Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior.

The six components on which the State Education Center has released the rankings of all 52 districts of the state include enrollment, learning outcomes, capacity building of teachers, infrastructure and available resources in schools and governance process and financial management.

Taking all these components together, Katni district has secured A grade with a total of 77.94 points. This ranking of the district has been released on the basis of performance in the first quarter of the academic session 2022-23.

Indore district’s education department’s performance had significantly fallen from the 23rd position to 42nd position in Elementary Education.
