Good News for Crores of Beneficiaries Under the Ladli Behna Yojana: 25th Installment Update

There’s a major update for the crores of women enrolled in the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana. The 25th installment is expected to be disbursed on June 13, when Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will transfer ₹1,250 each into the accounts of 1.27 crore women from Jabalpur. Additionally, over 26 lakh women will receive extra funds for LPG cylinder refilling. However, an official confirmation of the final date is still awaited.

Change in Installment Date from April 2025

Until now, the installments were usually credited by the 10th of every month, but from April 2025, the disbursement schedule has been shifted. In a Cabinet meeting, the government decided that the amount would now be credited around the 15th of every month. Accordingly, the 23rd installment was released on April 16, and the 24th on May 15. Now, the 25th installment is expected on June 13.

Raksha Bandhan Gift for Women

CM Mohan Yadav has announced that an additional amount will be given to women on Raksha Bandhan under the scheme. Furthermore, he reiterated the government’s promise to increase the scheme’s monthly payout from ₹1,250 to ₹3,000 in phases over the next three years.

Key Details of the Ladli Behna Yojana

The scheme was launched in May 2023 by the previous CM, Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

It aims to financially empower married women aged 21–60 years in Madhya Pradesh.

Initially, beneficiaries received ₹1,000 per month, which was later increased to ₹1,250 during Raksha Bandhan 2023.

Beneficiaries now receive ₹15,000 annually.

From June 2023 to May 2025, 24 installments have been successfully transferred.

The total benefit disbursed so far exceeds ₹28,000 crore.

Additionally, a special assistance of ₹250 was given during August 2023 and 2024.

This welfare initiative continues to uplift the women of Madhya Pradesh and promises more benefits in the future.
