CM Dr. Mohan Yadav directed that maximum participation should be ensured by organizing yoga events across urban local bodies, wards, and panchayats.
The goal is to set a national record for the largest collective participation in yoga programs on a single day
Dr. Yadav encouraged departments to work in coordination to make the event a mass movement, reaching people across cities, towns, and villages. He stated that yoga is not just a physical exercise but a symbol of India’s cultural heritage and holistic health tradition.
Special instructions were also given to involve schools, colleges, community groups, and local influencers to boost awareness and mobilization efforts. The government aims to make Madhya Pradesh a leading state in yoga adoption and public participation.
