Kamal Nath writes a letter to PM Modi, demanding a new regiment in the arm

As the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections are coming closer, the efforts of the political parties to help the voters of the state are getting intensified.

Former CM Kamal Nath has made a big political bet before the assembly elections. The Congress leader has written a letter to PM Modi demanding the establishment of an Ahir regiment in the army.

It is believed that his eyes are on the Yadav voters of the state. Yaduvanshi- Yadav society has been demanding the establishment of Ahir Regiment for a long time. The number of Yaduvanshi community is around 14 percent in the state.

'Formation of new regiment will fill new enthusiasm in Yaduvanshi society'

The Congress leader wrote in the letter, 'The formation of the new regiment will fill the spirit of patriotism in the Yaduvanshi society with new enthusiasm and will motivate them to join the army in an unprecedented way.' He wrote that PM Modi should take a positive decision to set up an Ahir regiment at the earliest in order to fulfill the patriotic demand of the Yaduvanshi community.
