Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election 2023: PM Modi Affirms Commitment to Development, Unveils ₹24,000 Crore Welfare Scheme for Tribals

Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election 2023: In successive rallies, Prime Minister Narendra Modi intensified his criticism of the Congress, asserting confidence in the BJP’s potential second consecutive term. Addressing the crowd in Betul, Modi accused the Congress of resorting to seers to boost its electoral prospects, dismissing their promises in contrast to his guarantees.

He touched upon various issues, including the abrogation of Article 370, laws against triple talaq, and the Ram temple construction, asserting that Congress doubted these would become a reality.

Modi questioned the Congress’s perspective

Highlighting India’s recent achievements, Modi questioned the Congress’s perspective, asking which ‘foreign glasses’ they wore to overlook the country’s development. Mocking a Congress leader’s statement about ‘Made in China’ mobile phones in India, Modi criticized their inability to recognize the nation’s progress and accused them of being disconnected from ground realities.

Modi reiterated his commitment to lift country’s economy

In Shajapur, Modi expressed confidence in the people’s ‘love and trust,’ claiming it disrupted the sleep of some and wiped smiles from a few faces. With an impending election on November 17 in Madhya Pradesh, Modi reiterated his commitment to lift the country’s economy to the third position if elected for a third term in the Centre. The rallies concluded with the announcement of a proposed ₹24,000 crore welfare scheme for tribals in the country.
