Force of more than 240 jawans of Sehore district along with Superintendent of Police Mayank Awasthi was conducting raid combing patrolling operation. The police of the district cracked down on the criminals. Over 200 warrantees and criminals were nabbed in the overnight police operation. Apart from the absconding criminals for many years, the police arrested the accused named in other cases including absconding warranty, permanent warranty, prize crook and District Badar accused by running a special operation.

A team of 240 police personnel took action overnight under the direction of TIs of all police stations including District Superintendent of Police Mayank Awasthi and Additional SP Gitesh Garg. During the combing patrol, 129 standing warrants, 71 arrest warrants, one accused absconding criminal (299 Jaffou), two prize crooks and four other criminals were apprehended. Along with this, 207 warrantees were caught after checking the non-applicants in three districts. Apart from this, a country-made pistol, four cartridges were seized during the combing patrol. Along with this, 24 surveillance crooks and four goons were also checked.

Separate search parties were formed at the district headquarters under the leadership of the Additional Superintendent of Police. About 200 police officers including 04 gazetted officers were involved in the night combing operation. Different search parties formed under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Abhishek Rajan at the district headquarters, conducted a thorough investigation of arrest warrants, permanent warrants, absconding accused, rewarded miscreants, district Badar criminals and other criminals.

During the investigation, 43 non-bailable warrantees, 06 prize crooks, 13 other criminals were arrested by the search parties. At the same time 11 District Badar criminals and surveillance miscreants were investigated. Additional Superintendent of Police, SDOP Anuppur Kirti Baghel, SDOP Kotma Shivendra Singh Baghel, SDOP Pushprajgarh Sona (Gold) Lee Gupta, police officers/employees including all police station/outpost in-charge were involved in this action.
