Mohan Yadav: Madhya Pradesh has emerged as one of the leading states in digital governance, securing the second position nationwide in the delivery of online public services, according to the National e-Governance Service Delivery Assessment (NeSDA).
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav highlighted the achievement, stating that the state is currently providing 1,752 e-services to citizens, reflecting a strong push towards digital transformation and citizen-centric governance.
Mohan Yadav: Strong Performance in Mandatory Services
A key highlight of the assessment is the state’s 100% implementation of all 59 mandatory e-services. Officials described this as a major milestone, showcasing the government’s focus on ensuring accessibility, transparency, and efficiency in public service delivery.
The CM noted that such progress is a result of consistent policy efforts aimed at strengthening governance mechanisms and improving ease of access for citizens.
Comparison Across States
As per the NeSDA dashboard data, Madhya Pradesh stands among the top performers, second only to Karnataka, which leads with 2,102 e-services. Other major states include Chhattisgarh (1,645) and Tamil Nadu (1,634), reflecting a competitive landscape in digital governance.
States like Haryana (1,059), Gujarat (1,051), and Uttarakhand (951) also reported strong performance, while others are still expanding their digital service frameworks.
Commitment to Transparent Governance
The Madhya Pradesh government emphasized that the achievement is a testament to its commitment to good governance, transparency, and citizen-focused policies. The expansion of digital services is expected to reduce bureaucratic delays, improve accountability, and enhance public satisfaction.
Officials added that the state will continue to strengthen its digital infrastructure and further expand e-services to ensure seamless delivery of government schemes and services to every citizen.
