Madhya Pradesh to buy hailstorm-affected wheat at MSP

Shivraj Singh Chouhan government in Madhya Pradesh has taken a big decision. The wheat crop has been greatly affected this time due to unseasonal rains and hailstorm. The wheat of a large number of farmers should not have that shine. In such a situation, while giving relief to these farmers, the MP cabinet has decided to buy wheat at minimum support price ( MSP) . This decision was taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Shivraj cabinet took the decision

In this meeting, a decision has been taken to buy the shineless wheat from the farmers, which was ruined due to unseasonal rains and hail. Apart from this, the state government will give relief amount at the rate of Rs 32 thousand per hectare to the farmers. Relief amount will be made available to farmers even in case of 25 to 35 percent loss. On the other hand, considering the loss of more than 50 percent as 100 percent, relief will be given. For this, the government has kept a fund of about 64 crores.

The MP cabinet has announced the establishment of 730 PM Sree (Prime Minister's School for Rising India) schools in the state. A maximum of two schools in each development block of the state (626 in 313 development blocks) and 104 schools in urban bodies of 52 districts, thus a maximum of 730 schools will be identified as PM Shree Schools. Studies will be done in PM Shree School as per the provisions of the National Education Policy-2020. This will include quality of education, equality and access to education facilities. PM Shree School will serve as an example for other schools.
