Mohan Yadav Emerging as Technology and Innovation Hub, Says State Government

The Mohan Yadav government has announced a series of technology and innovation-focused initiatives aimed at positioning the state as a major center for investment, research, and high-skill employment opportunities.

According to the Chief Minister’s Office, Madhya Pradesh has become the first state in the country to implement the GCC Policy 2025, designed to encourage global capability centres, technology operations, research and development facilities, and analytics hubs.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said the policy is intended to create a strong ecosystem for investment, innovation, and industrial growth while generating new opportunities for skilled youth.

Mohan Yadav: Special Incentives for Technology and R&D Sectors

Officials stated that the GCC Policy 2025 offers incentives for global companies interested in establishing technology, research, analytics, and innovation centres in Madhya Pradesh. The government believes the initiative can strengthen the state’s position in emerging sectors such as digital services, artificial intelligence, and advanced technologies.

Authorities also highlighted efforts to improve infrastructure and create a business-friendly environment to attract domestic and international investors.

Drone Policy Introduced for Digital Transformation

The state government has also promoted its Drone Promotion and Usage Policy-2025, which aims to support drone manufacturing, services, and technological applications in multiple sectors.

According to officials, drone technology is expected to be used in agriculture, disaster management, traffic monitoring, mining, and forest management activities across the state.

Skill Development for Youth

The Madhya Pradesh government stated that youth are being provided drone-related training under the “Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana” to improve technical skills and employment opportunities in emerging industries.

Officials believe that technology-driven training programmes can help prepare young professionals for future job markets while encouraging entrepreneurship and innovation-based industries in the state.
