The Mohan Yadav government has highlighted the expansion of AYUSH healthcare services and Ayurveda education infrastructure across the state.
According to the state government, approvals for new Ayurvedic colleges have been granted in several districts under the National AYUSH Mission during the past two years.
Ayurveda Institutions Planned in Multiple Districts
The proposed institutions are expected to strengthen traditional healthcare education and AYUSH medical services in districts including:
- Narmadapuram
- Morena
- Shahdol
- Balaghat
- Sagar
- Jhabua
- Shujalpur (Shajapur)
Officials stated that the expansion aims to improve access to Ayurveda-based healthcare and medical education in different regions of Madhya Pradesh.
Mohan Yadav Government Focuses on AYUSH Sector
The administration led by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has emphasized strengthening healthcare infrastructure and promoting traditional systems of medicine alongside modern medical services.
Authorities said the initiative represents another step towards improving public healthcare facilities and expanding educational opportunities in the AYUSH sector.
Focus on Traditional Healthcare and Medical Access
The state government stated that strengthening AYUSH institutions can help increase healthcare accessibility, encourage research in traditional medicine, and support the growing demand for alternative and preventive healthcare systems.
Officials added that expansion of Ayurveda colleges and related infrastructure is expected to contribute to healthcare development and employment opportunities in the medical education sector across Madhya Pradesh.
