In a recent communication, the government stated that inclusive growth remains a key identity of a strong Madhya Pradesh, with a focus on ensuring equal participation of दिव्यांगजन in the state’s development journey.
Mohan Yadav: Focus on education and accessibility
The government has undertaken several initiatives to make education and communication more accessible. Around 168 smart classrooms have been developed in aided special schools, aimed at improving learning outcomes for students with disabilities.
Technology-driven support systems
For hearing-impaired individuals, a QR code-based live interpreter facility has been introduced to ease communication barriers. This step is expected to enhance accessibility in public interactions and services.
Support for visually impaired
For visually impaired persons, booklets in Braille (rail lipi) have been made available, ensuring better access to educational and informational resources.
Inclusive governance approach
The state government has emphasized that over the past two years, multiple steps have been taken to empower persons with disabilities, reflecting a governance model that prioritizes sensitivity, inclusion, and equal opportunity for all sections of society.
