Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Saturday highlighted the rapid pace of development in Madhya Pradesh, stating that the state is emerging as one of the fastest-growing regions in the country in terms of investment, industry and employment opportunities.
Addressing people at the Agriculture Festival held in Barhi town of Katni, the Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state is witnessing a new wave of development, with increasing investments and expanding industrial activities creating more job opportunities for youth.

During the programme, Mohan Yadav inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various development projects worth more than ₹243 crore. The projects aim to strengthen infrastructure, improve agricultural facilities and enhance public services in the region, which will benefit farmers and local communities.

The Chief Minister also distributed benefits to several beneficiaries of government welfare schemes, reiterating the state government’s commitment to ensuring that development initiatives reach every section of society. He noted that farmers, women and youth remain at the centre of the state’s growth strategy.
Highlighting the state’s employment performance, Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh currently has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country, reflecting the success of policies focused on industrial growth, skill development and entrepreneurship.
He added that the government is working continuously to strengthen agriculture, promote agro-based industries and attract new investments so that rural areas also become engines of economic growth.
According to the Chief Minister, initiatives such as infrastructure expansion, farmer-centric schemes and improved industrial policies are helping transform Madhya Pradesh into a major hub for business and employment, while ensuring inclusive growth for people across the state.
