Karnataka reopened schools

Madhya Pradesh's rural students achieve better academic outcomes. The Class 5 and Class 8 results that were released on Monday showed this. Overall, Class 5 students scored 82.27%, and Class 8 students scored 76.09%.

This year, madrassas other than those run by the government are also displayed. This year, there were over 24 lakh students from more than a thousand madrassas, 24,000 private schools, and about 87,000 government institutions.

According to official data released in the presence of school education minister Inder Singh Parmar, 72.73% of pupils in urban areas and 86.58% of kids in rural regions passed the Class 5 exams. Results for Class 8 also reflected the situation.

In Class 8, 68.83% of urban students passed the exam, compared to 78.96% of students from rural areas.

Girls outperformed boys in academic results

Once more, girls outperformed boys in academic results. Overall, 84.3% of female students passed Class 5, compared to 80.3% of male students. In Class 8, girls made up 78.9% of the successful students, while boys made up 73.5%.

After 12 years, this year's exams were given using the board format in both the state's public and private schools between March and April.

Class 5 and 8 exams were administered according to the board pattern solely in government institutions last year. These exams have resumed using the board format following the revision to the Right to Education Act.

The previous board examination was held in 2010. Class 10 and Class 12 board exam results are anticipated to be released later this month. Dindori, Narsinghpur, Alirajpur, Anuppur, and Sehore were the top five states in Class 8, whereas Tikamgarh, Ujjain, Sagar, Satna, and Rajgarh had the worst performance.

Class 5 exams were finished on March 31, while Class 8 exams were finished on April 1. In the state, more than 12,000 centres have been established.

The Right to Education Act was revised last year, according to officials. Class 5 and 8 adopted the board pattern. In 2022, it was applied in government schools; however, in private schools this year, board-style exams were administered.
