Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, unveiled a programme on Wednesday to impart young people skills. “The Government is working to create jobs; the hiring process for one lakh positions is ongoing. We keep up our attempts to work for ourselves,” he remarked.

Every month, Employment Day is held in the State. “It is our resolve the youth will not be left unemployed. For this, a new scheme is being implemented to teach skills to the youth,” Chouhan said.

The youth will also get paid along with learning the skill. Companies and service sector will be linked for skill training.

Unemployment allowance is redundant: CM

“Unemployment allowance is redundant. The new scheme will give wings to the youth by enhancing their ability, so that they can fly high in the open sky and they get new opportunities, progress and development,” he said.

The young person will begin working on August 1. “This revolutionary scheme will teach the youth to stand on their own feet instead of walking on crutches,” Chouhan said.

According to the plan, registration for training facilities for young people will begin on June 7; registration for young people interested in learning a trade will begin on June 15; and placement will begin on July 15. The State Government and the establishment that provides the training will begin processing the contract on July 31.
