For the Hindu community, Bhojshala is revered as a temple dedicated to Goddess Vagdevi (Saraswati), embodying knowledge and learning. Conversely, Muslims recognize the same complex as the Kamal Maula mosque, a place of worship and devotion. This dual significance has led to an arrangement made in 2003, allowing Hindus to perform puja every Tuesday from sunrise to sunset, while Muslims are permitted to offer namaz on Fridays between 1 pm and 3 pm.
