The perpetrators, seen in the video, stripped and hung the victim upside down, ruthlessly beating him with belts. The incident comes merely two days after a similar case of assault against tribals in the same district. The police have initiated an investigation, registering an FIR against the accused individuals, two of whom have been identified as Ritesh Chouhan and Chent.

The victim, identified as Ashish Paret, narrated that he was deceitfully brought to Betul over a financial transaction and subsequently subjected to the merciless assault. While he initially refrained from reporting the incident to the police due to fear, the video’s circulation prompted him and his family to file a formal complaint. The incident highlights the ongoing atrocities and criminal acts against the tribal community, emphasizing the need for immediate and stringent action against the perpetrators.
