Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, a cabinet meeting commenced at the ministry with the rendition of the national anthem. Prior to the official proceedings, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, in his address, expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Pariyat-Kali Sind-Chambal Link Project. He also thanked Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for granting a gift of INR 10,405 crore for road projects in the state.

Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, providing details of cabinet decisions, informed that amendments have been made to the Madhya Pradesh Startup Policy and Implementation Scheme 2022. The revisions include financial assistance from the state government to support the participation of state startups in national and international events. According to the cabinet decisions, the state government will provide financial assistance of INR 50,000 for participating in national events and INR 2.5 lakhs for international events. This financial aid will be available once a financial year for national events and a maximum of twice a year for international events.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted that the Parvati-Kali Sind-Chambal Link Project, pending for nearly two decades, will now come to fruition thanks to Prime Minister Modi's initiative. The project will benefit 12 districts in the Malwa and Chambal regions and 13 districts in eastern Rajasthan. It will enhance water availability for drinking purposes and irrigation, contributing to increased agricultural and industrial water usage. He shared that the state's share in this INR 75,000 crore project is only 10%, with the remaining 90% provided by the central government.
