Speaking on the occasion, CM Yadav said the Chief Minister’s residence is not his personal property but belongs to the 9 crore people of Madhya Pradesh. He added that the installation of the Vedic clock symbolizes India’s rich cultural heritage and scientific knowledge, while also inspiring the youth of the state.

The Vikramaditya Vedic Clock is designed to reflect ancient Indian time-keeping methods and philosophies. Along with showing conventional time, it also highlights the Panchang (Hindu calendar elements), auspicious timings, and other traditional aspects of Indian astronomy.
After unveiling the clock, the Chief Minister interacted with young people present at the event and urged them to take pride in India’s knowledge systems. He emphasized that such initiatives promote awareness of India’s ancient wisdom while adapting it for modern use.
With the launch of the accompanying mobile app, citizens across the state can now access the features of the Vikramaditya Vedic Clock on their smartphones, making the blend of tradition and digital technology more accessible to all.
