MP News: Madhya Pradesh Extends Admission Registration for NCTE Courses

During this period, students are also required to visit help centers to have their documents verified.

MP News: In Madhya Pradesh, students seeking admission to various NCTE courses, including B.Ed and M.Ed, have received a significant update. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has announced an extension for the registration process, providing students with additional time to apply. Interested candidates can now register from August 21 to August 23, 2024. During this period, students are also required to visit help centers to have their documents verified.

Who Benefits from the Extension?

The extended registration phase benefits two types of applicants: registered but unadmitted students and newly registered applicants. Registered but unadmitted students are those who have completed their registration but have not yet selected a college or finalized their admission. New registered applicants are those applying for the first time and completing their initial registration.

This additional phase allows both categories of students to select their preferred institutions, ensuring more opportunities for securing admission into their chosen colleges. The Higher Education Department has issued guidelines to facilitate this process and ensure all eligible students have access to their preferred institutions.

Details on the Second Phase of Online Counseling

The second phase of online counseling for admissions to B.Ed, M.Ed, B.P.Ed, M.P.Ed, B.A.B.Ed, and part-time three-year B.Ed courses is set to commence on August 21 and will continue until September 1. The online counseling for these courses at state education centers will also be in progress. Following this phase, the merit list will be published on August 24, featuring the names of students who qualify for admission into these programs.
