As Gandhi's convoy traveled through Shajapur, a group of BJP workers, led by corporator Mukesh Dubey, voiced their support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi along the A B Road. Gandhi decided to pause the convoy, stepping out to meet and greet the enthusiastic BJP supporters.

During the encounter, in addition to 'Modi-Modi' chants, 'Jai Shri Ram' slogans were raised by the BJP workers. Gandhi reciprocated the gesture, shaking hands with them before returning to his vehicle.
