MP News: Women Dominate Top Ranks in Madhya Pradesh State Service Exam 2019

In a historic achievement, the recently announced results of the Madhya Pradesh State Service Examination 2019 revealed a significant dominance of women candidates. Seven women outperformed their counterparts, securing positions among the top 10 successful candidates. Priya Pathak emerged as the topper, earning the coveted role of deputy collector, as announced by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC).

The remaining top nine candidates, ranked for the deputy collector position, include Shivangi Baghel, Pooja Soni, Rahul Kumar Patel, Nidhi Mishra, Harneet Kaur Kalsi, Sourabh Mishra, Saloni Agrawal, Reetika Patidar, and Ashutosh Mahadev Singh Thakur, according to the official statement from MPPSC.

While the initial advertisement featured 571 posts for the state service examination in 2019, the pending case related to the 27% reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBCs) in government jobs has affected the declaration of results for 87% of these posts at present.
