Opposition Rally: Former Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar, delivered a speech at the INDIA alliance rally held at Ramlila Maidan in Karnal, Haryana. Khattar took the opportunity to criticize opposition leaders and address the recent arrest of Arvind Kejriwal, the National Convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

During his speech, Khattar highlighted the importance of rallies in democratic processes, emphasizing that despite the efforts of opposition leaders, the public is well aware of their actions and decisions. He referred to Kejriwal’s arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with corruption charges, stating that evidence has been provided against him and the court has denied him bail. Khattar cautioned that those who support individuals embroiled in corruption scandals risk losing whatever credibility they have left.
Targets Opposition and Arvind Kejriwal’s Arrest
Furthermore, Khattar addressed the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, expressing confidence in the victory of the INDIA alliance, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also targeted the Haryana Congress party, particularly focusing on the rivalry between Bhupinder Singh Hooda and his son. Khattar asserted that both individuals fear each other’s defeat.
Additionally, Khattar clarified that there is no discord with Anil Vij, a senior leader within the party, who chose not to accept a ministerial position. He emphasized that decisions within the party are made through discussions and consultations, highlighting his role as a former Chief Minister compared to a Deputy Chief Minister.
