Weather Update March 3 2026: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the states of Sikkim, Assam, Nagaland, West Bengal and Arunachal Pradesh are likely to receive moderate to heavy rain showers. It was also predicted that Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, eastern Uttar Pradesh and eastern Madhya Pradesh are likely to see a drop of 2 to 3 degrees in terms of minimum temperatures.
The states of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh are are likely to witness a surge in maximum temperatures by 3 to 4 degrees.
Weather Update March 3 2026-Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand And Himachal Pradesh Weather Update
Kullu-Manali area, Palampur, Sundernagar along with Srinagar, Jammu, Anantnag, Baramulla, Arki, Dalhousie, Pulwama, Kupwara, Kulgam and Kasauli are likely to witness moderate showers. Udham Singh Nagar, Dehradun, Bageshwar, Pauri, Tehri, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi, Champawat and Karnaprayag are also likely to witness the same weather conditions.

Doda, Kishtwar, Kathua, Rajouri, Poonch, Ramban, Reasi, Samba, Udhampur a, Shopian, Ganderbal, Bandipora and Kargil are likely to witness bone-chilling cold waves, especially during early morning and late evening & night hours.
Haryana Weather Update
Kaithal, Fatehabad, Chandigarh, Faridabad, Gurugram, Panipat, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Rohtak, Hisar, Karnal, Rewari, Palwal, Sonipat, Panchkula, Bhiwani, Sirsa, Bahadurgarh and Jind are likely to witness humid conditions throughout the day.
Punjab Weather Update
Rupnagar, Mansa, Sangrur, Fatehgarh Sahib, Barnala, Gurdaspur, Amloh, Firozpur, Faridkot, Moga, Nawanshahr, Patiala, Bathinda, Hoshiarpur, Mohali and Malerkotla are likely to experience bright sunshine and clear skies throughout the day.
