As per the officials, the ,CS is still exploring its options in the remainder budget.

AAP's four proposals for traders

AAP will put forward dour proposals in the MCD budget meeting to give relief to traders. AAP leader and MCD in-charge Durgesh Pathak stated tat the first proposal will be directed to stop the practice of sealing. In a relief of traders, the lawyers will now back traders instead of opposing their stand, he said.

Party’s second proposal would aim at stopping further notices to traders. In the third proposal, the AAP would suggest prevention of action who have received notice in the name of conversion. Any kind of further notice shouldn't be sent to shopping complexes and shops, the AAP would propose in its fourth proposal.

‘Relief to businessman in Delhi’

Many local shopping centres in Rajendra Nagar, Defence Colony, Green Park and Hauz Khas have been sealed by MCD after Supreme Court’s order. In 2017, the SC had appointed a  monitoring committee to check ‘misuse’ of properties in Delhi.

AAP leader Pathak said, ‘the proposals aim to provide relief to the businesses of Delhi, which have been targeted and harassed by the BJP-led MCD for past 15 years.”

Meanwhile, new MCD mayor polls will be held in April. AAP is set to repeat its Mayor Shelly Oberoi and Deputy mayor Mohammed Iqbal as candidates.
