Meerut News: From October 17 to October 19, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Agricultural University, Modipuram will host a three-day All India Farmers Fair and Agricultural Exhibition. This will include participation from different farms across the nation. This fair will also have a number of these stalls set up. This will help farmers understand current farming practises so they can produce better harvests for less money.

Inaugural Ceremony with Distinguished Guests

Anandiben Patel, the governor of Uttar Pradesh, and Union Minister of State Sanjeev Balyan will launch the fair on October 17 together with other dignitaries, according to Professor KK Singh, vice chancellor of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Agricultural University. This fair's goal is to educate farmers as much as possible about emerging technologies. Along with this, he explained how to profit more from farming new crops like strawberries, dragon fruit, and mushrooms, among others. This will be brought to people's attention.

Informative Stalls and Soil Testing at Kisan Fair

The Kisan Fair will be home to more than 150 different kinds of stalls. At each stall, professionals will inform the farmers about all aspects of farming. Additionally, soil from a farmer's crops may be brought. While the soil is being tested, farmers will receive specific information. in order for their fields to produce higher harvests. In addition, there will be a unique exhibition of coarse grains. This will also display grain seeds. He claimed that diseases are becoming more destructive in this way. For this, coarse grains can be an excellent medium to ensure that people stay healthy.

Empowering Women Farmers

Let us inform you that Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel had instructed the university administration to give uneducated women alternative sorts of training, including agricultural, last year. The Agricultural University then provided specific instruction to 500 women. Out of them, 50 women who have managed their families while making more money will put up stalls at this event.
