Meerut News: Fire at UP Police Station, Four cops injured

Meerut News: Building inside the Meerut Police Station caught fire and four Police constables sustained serious burn injuries during the incident. The incident is reported from Meerut’s Sardhana. According to sources, the cause of the fire is likely to be short circuit. The impact of the fire was so huge that it can be seen from many kilometres away from the spot.

Sources: Short Circuit led to the incident

Many fire tenders have rushed to the spot to douse the flames. According to the eyewitnesses the cause of the fire was the short circuit in a switch board which led to the explosion in the canteen of the Police station. The fire also engulfed the warehouse which was located nearby the Police station. The investigation officer informed that many officers had suffered serious injuries while trying to control the flames and they were rushed to the hospital for first aide.
