Meerut News: Two men shot at over second marriage, cops register case

Meerut News: In a shocking news coming from Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut area, two men were shot at allegedly over a  second marriage with which some people were not happy. The victims were shot by the bike borne people when they had boarded the E-Rickshaw to reach their destination. They were shot by the accused 30 kms away from the district headquarters.

Victim was shot by four men on a bike

One of the victims was driving the E-Rickshaw and the other was sitting on the passenger seat when they were shot by four men on a bike. Both the victims were rushed to the nearby hospital where they were declared brought dead. According to the Police one of the victim Arvind had married a woman named Geeta in the year 2021 after her husband died. The woman got married in 2002 and her husband died in 2020.  The couple started staying together outside their village.

Police registers case and initiates probe

Woman’s son and brother-in-law were not happy with her second marriage. The woman had alleged that her husband is shot because of her marriage. Police has registered complaint against the woman’s sons and brother-in-law and launches probe.
