MP News: Teachers from a tutoring centre in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, thrashed a 13-year-old pupil with a plastic pipe for not completing his maths homework. Before hitting the child, who is in the eighth grade, they forced him to lie on a table. Five people, including the director of the coaching institute, have been named in a case.
Student Assaulted by Teachers with Plastic Pipe in Gwalior Coaching Center
The kid was allegedly held down by the teacher’s legs, Sanket held his hands, and Rahul struck him with a plastic pipe, according to the police report. The student further disclosed that he had received a death threat if he disclosed the incident to anyone. On September 2, the incident took place when the child arrived at his coaching facility, The Prime Classes, at around 4 o’clock without finishing his maths assignment.
Teachers and Coaching Center Directors Charged with Assault and Violating Juvenile Justice Act
Sanket Bharti, teacher Abhishek Rahul Gurjar, co-director Prem Sharma, and coaching director Chandrakant Mishra have all been charged with assault and violating the Juvenile Justice Act.
