Navjot Singh Sidhu meets Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi in Delhi, vows to remain committed to congress and Punjab

Navjot Singh Sidhu: Congressman Navjot Singh Sidhu met with party leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi on Thursday in New Delhi, five days after leaving Patiala Central Jail after serving his sentence in a case involving road rage.

Sidhu posted a Pic on Tweeter

Sidhu Tweeted, "Met my Mentor Rahul ji and Friend, Philosopher, Guide Priyanka ji in New Delhi Today. You can Jail me, Intimidate me, Block all my financial accounts but My commitment for Punjab and My Leaders will neither flinch nor back an inch !!" Tweeting this he also shared a pic with Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi.

Ravneet Singh Bittu accused Sidhu of doing huge damage to the party

At the same time, senior party figure Navjot Sidhu and former chief ministers Captain Amarinder Singh (who is now with the BJP) and Charanjit Singh Channi were accused of doing "huge damage to the party" by Congress MP from Ludhiana Ravneet Singh Bittu. Sidhu had to resign as head of the Punjab Congress following the disastrous election last year at Sonia Gandhi's request. He was replaced as chairman of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee by Amrinder Singh Raja Warring.
