Noida News: Authorities claim that the Advent underpass on the Noida-Greater Noida Motorway, which is 10.3 kilometres from the Mahamaya flyover, was flooded. Water began to enter through drains as a result of Yamuna water flowing in reverse. Other locations, such as Sector-16A Film City and Sector-168, experienced waterlogging. Due to a hole in the drain's wall, Sector-137's societies and surrounding areas were flooded. Noida's Sectors 167, 92, 150, 151, 168, 93, 151A, 137, and 135 are under water as a result of flooding.

Operators Forced to Evacuate Amidst Demolition Efforts

The farm buildings constructed in the Yamuna submergence area were also flooded. Its operators began leaving there on Wednesday and Thursday because of the flooding. The authority has been attempting to demolish these farm houses constructed in the submergence area for a number of months. However, just roughly 130 farm dwellings have been destroyed to now.

Authorities Take Precautions

A video showing a pillar's ground cracking on Thursday as a result of water pressure quickly became popular online. The movie demonstrated how the presence of water enhanced the pressure in this area. There has been a long-lasting fissure in the ground in this circumstance. The district administration and the irrigation department are, however, taking precautions.
