Noida News: One of the most shocking ways to smuggle Gold has come to light from Noida where 200 Grams of Gold was recovered during an X-Ray. The two men were caught smuggling gold from a flight to Dubai, when they were caught by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence team. The agency members were shocked to discover so much gold from the stomach of the men while they were going through the search round at the airport. The officers took them for an X-Ray at the District Hospital of sector-39 and requested for the X-Ray of the two men.
Over 200 Gram of Gold recovered during Scan
The CMS allowed the X-Ray of these two as an emergency case and took them for the scan. The two have been identified as Ratnatakar sharma and Amit Sharma. Both are brothers and they both hailed from Deoria. Around 200 grams of gold was recovered from the stomach of Ratnakar Sharma during the scan. The gold costs around 10 lakh rupees. Nothing was found from Amit Sharma’s stomach.
Both men confessed of smuggling Gold from Dubai
The Noida Zonal Unit of the DRI received information about two passengers smuggling gold from Dubai to Delhi. Based on the information, the duo was caught by the Intelligence officers from the airport. Both men confessed of carrying gold during interrogation. They said they were carrying this gold to Deoria.
