Tomatoes are being given away for free in Chandigarh by an auto-rickshaw driver while customers are debating whether to purchase this vegetable. Anyone who rides in the autorickshaw of this specific Chandigarh driver receives a free kilogramme of tomatoes. But only those who bike five times are eligible for the offer. Additionally, for the past 12 years, Arun has given Indian Army soldiers free rides in autorickshaws. Additionally, he offers free transportation to hospitals for expectant ladies. "This is my source of income and the only way through which I make ends meet. But by providing such services, it gives him great satisfaction. Moreover, he has also announced that he would provide free rickshaw rides for five days in Chandigarh if India wins the upcoming cricket match with Pakistan scheduled to be held in October," he told India Today.

Shoe Store Offers Free Tomatoes with Shoe Purchase

A shoe store owner in Gurdaspur, Punjab, recently announced a programme in which he would give away 2 kg of tomatoes to clients who purchased shoes from his business. Customers can receive 2 kg of tomatoes for free under the special sale offer if they buy shoes between Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,500. A store owner in Madhya Pradesh is giving away free tomatoes to customers who purchase smartphones from his store. To help retail consumers, the Centre is offering tomatoes in a few areas including Delhi-NCR, Patna, and Lucknow for a discounted price of Rs 80 per kilogramme.
