331 Days of ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’: Bhagwant Mann Intensifies Statewide Crackdown Against Drugs

From rural belts to urban centres, the campaign has maintained momentum through continuous monitoring, intelligence-based action, and youth-focused awareness initiatives.

Bhagwant Mann has completed 331 days of its flagship anti-drug campaign ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’, reaffirming its commitment to making the state drug-free. Under the leadership of the state government, the police force continues to carry out focused raids, intensive search operations, and sustained public awareness drives across Punjab.

As part of the ongoing mission, teams from Punjab Police and the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) conducted coordinated search operations in multiple areas. These operations aimed not only at disrupting drug supply chains but also at sending a strong message that drug-related activities will not be tolerated anywhere in the state.

Bhagwant Mann : Awareness and Enforcement Go Hand in Hand

Alongside enforcement, Punjab Police has placed strong emphasis on community awareness and public participation. During the operations, residents were sensitised about the harmful effects of drug abuse and urged to cooperate with the police by sharing information related to narcotics trafficking. Officials reiterated that public support remains a key pillar of the campaign’s success.

Relentless Drive Towards a Drug-Free Punjab

The ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’ campaign reflects Punjab Police’s zero-tolerance approach towards drugs, combining ground-level action with preventive strategies. From rural belts to urban centres, the campaign has maintained momentum through continuous monitoring, intelligence-based action, and youth-focused awareness initiatives.

Government’s Commitment to ‘Nasha Mukt Punjab’

The sustained nature of the campaign underlines the state government’s resolve to achieve the vision of ‘Nasha Mukt Punjab’. Authorities have emphasized that the drive will continue with the same intensity until drug networks are dismantled and communities feel safer.

With 331 days completed, Punjab Police has made it clear that this is not a temporary operation but a long-term mission aimed at protecting future generations and restoring social well-being across the state.
