AAP Punjab Announces Five Key Guarantees Ahead of Ludhiana Municipal Corporation Elections

In a major political move, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab launched its election campaign for the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation elections today. Addressing a press conference in Ludhiana, AAP Punjab President Aman Arora and Acting President Shery Kalsi unveiled five key guarantees aimed at transforming Ludhiana into a cleaner, greener, and more organized city.

Solution to Buddha Nullah Issue and Road Infrastructure Development

The AAP leadership pledged to resolve the longstanding pollution issues of the Buddha Nullah. They announced plans to develop roads along both banks of the river, making the area more accessible and eco-friendly. Electric Buses to Combat Air Pollution

In a bid to reduce air pollution in Ludhiana, AAP promised the introduction of 100 electric buses. These buses will serve as a sustainable alternative to conventional diesel-run public transport, aligning with the party’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

Modern Sewage and Waste Management Systems

AAP announced plans to deploy state-of-the-art technology for 100% sewage management and efficient disposal of waste. This initiative is expected to significantly improve sanitation and hygiene across the city.

The party guaranteed 100% access to clean and safe drinking water for every household in Ludhiana. This promise aims to address one of the most pressing basic needs of the city’s residents.

To tackle Ludhiana’s growing traffic woes, AAP plans to construct four new inter-state bus terminals and launch inter-city bus services. The existing bus stand will be repurposed as a local bus terminal, enhancing the efficiency of public transport.
