Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann addressed residents during a Lok Milni programme in Bhaloor village, thanking people for their overwhelming participation despite the hot weather. He expressed gratitude for the public support and said the government’s development efforts would continue across the state.

During the event, the Chief Minister announced ₹51 lakh for development works in the village. He said the financial assistance would be utilised to strengthen local infrastructure and improve civic amenities for residents.
Highlighting the achievements of his government
Highlighting the achievements of his government, Mann said nearly 90 per cent of households in Punjab are now receiving zero electricity bills under the state’s free power scheme. He also claimed that Punjab has emerged as a leading state in providing free healthcare and education to its people.
The Chief Minister said the government has significantly improved canal irrigation for farmers, with around 80 per cent of agricultural land now receiving canal water. He added that efforts are underway to ensure every field in Bhaloor is connected to a canal outlet in the coming period.
Bhagwant Mann also reiterated the government’s commitment to tackling the drug menace, stating that properties belonging to alleged drug smugglers have been confiscated as part of the ongoing crackdown. He called on people to remain united in supporting Punjab’s development and said collective efforts would help make the state more prosperous in the years ahead.
