During the event, Mann distributed grant cheques to the Bhattlan village panchayat and several other local panchayats for development works. The funds are intended to support infrastructure projects and community welfare initiatives aimed at improving facilities and public services in rural areas.

Chief Minister also highlighted a significant administrative decision

The Chief Minister also highlighted a significant administrative decision concerning government employees. He announced that newly appointed police constables, clerks, and ASHA workers would be posted within a radius of approximately 40 kilometres from their homes. The move is intended to reduce travel difficulties, improve work-life balance, and help employees serve their communities more effectively.

According to Mann, the decision reflects the government’s commitment to addressing practical concerns faced by employees while strengthening public service delivery. He noted that ensuring convenient postings can improve efficiency and morale among government workers.

Reaffirming his government’s focus on rural development and citizen welfare, the Chief Minister said Punjab’s progress depends on continued investment in villages, infrastructure, and public services. He emphasized that the state government would continue working toward creating a prosperous future for Punjab through development-oriented policies and people-centric governance.
