He announced that newly appointed police constables, clerks, and ASHA workers would be posted within a radius of approximately 40 kilometres from their homes. According to Mann, the decision reflects the government’s commitment to addressing practical concerns faced by employees while strengthening public service delivery. He noted that ensuring convenient postings can improve efficiency and morale among government workers.
