The Punjab government will soon open 10 centers in the state to provide free UPSC coaching to the students. This was announced by Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann. He said that this will benefit lakhs of poor meritorious students.
Punjab CM on Wednesday said that his government will open 10 centers to provide free coaching to youth for competitive examinations of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). He said these things while addressing a gathering after the launch of ‘CM The Yogshala’ program along with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
The Punjab CM said that the aim of his government is to ensure that the youth of the state occupy high positions. He became an IAS and IPS officer. He said that the ‘CM The Yogashala’ initiative of his government would act as an important step towards creating a healthy, vibrant, prosperous and progressive Punjab.
People can dial the toll-free number 7669 400 500 for free yoga training. He said that this is a new initiative aimed at creating a mass movement to create a healthy and prosperous Punjab.
These states already have this facility
Many states already have arrangements for providing free UPSC coaching to students. These states include the states of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh. However, only economically weak meritorious students get admission in free coaching centers for UPSC preparation running in these states.
