Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has announced extensive arrangements for devotees attending the holy Shaheedi Jor Mela at Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, with special emphasis on healthcare and transportation facilities.
Free Medical Facilities for Devotees
As part of the preparations, the Punjab government will set up six dispensaries and 20 Aam Aadmi Clinics to provide medical support to the sangat during the religious congregation. These facilities will ensure timely healthcare services and emergency assistance.
The Chief Minister further stated that special deployment of administrative staff, volunteers and emergency response teams will be ensured throughout the duration of the Shaheedi Jor Mela. Crowd management measures, cleanliness drives and continuous monitoring will be carried out to maintain discipline and hygiene, allowing devotees to participate in the religious event with peace and dignity.

Free Transport Services During Shaheedi Jor Mela
To ease movement for pilgrims, the Punjab government will also provide free transport services, including more than 100 e-rickshaws and 200 shuttle buses. These services will operate throughout the event period to ensure smooth connectivity and reduce congestion.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann emphasised that the government is committed to making the Shaheedi Jor Mela a safe, organised and comfortable experience for devotees arriving from across Punjab and other states.
